Enguerrant Quarton - "The Coronation of the Virgin" 1452-3

Astoundingly, only three of Quarton's paintings survive. When one is the work above and the other is the breathtaking "Avignon Pieta," (another view) once described as the masterpiece of 15th century French art, then the loss or destruction of the rest of your life's work doesn't prove much of a detriment to your reputation.
